Shortly before 9 a.m. on April 18, first responders were called to the 10000 block of Riggs Road in Hyattsville, where there was a school bus that struck a house, leading to a collapse investigation.

No students were on the bus at the time of the crash, though the driver was taken by paramedics to an area hospital for treatment and evaluation of non-life-threatening injuries.

No one inside the home was hurt.

It is unclear what caused the drover to lose control and crash into the home.
